Lolz, you've been commenting on some of my work, so time to return the favor.
Anyway, I think it turned out pretty well for the most part. The coloring looks nice...maybe a bit simple, but still nice. Her hand looks kind of large and mannish, though. Might want to make it look a bit more slender/feminine in future works.
Maybe it's just me, but...something about her lower half seems strange. It's not so much an anatomical issues than I just think that maybe there could be some more variation in line weight. It's more around the lower half--for me, it's sort of as if her hips/legs, hair, and the weapon are a tad bit difficult to discern between upon immediate inspection. Only after a minute or two of switching back and forth between the thumbnail and the full view did it really start to all make sense. I think part of the reason may be because that her hair and that little thing on her hip are almost identical in color, so it gives it a slight visual confusion.
Sounds like a lot of complaining but they're pretty small issues, really. The line work is pretty awesome, aside from some minor issues I listed. I think it looks good.
What bothers me, though, is how different it turns out from say, random high-res anime promo art. I think it still has that flat Photoshop appearance which really bothers me. But I suppose that's just something I'll have to keep experimenting with, just like with skin tones and hues.
Anyway, thanks for the Wall of Text! It's very much appreciated. And I mean it!

To be honest, I've never really colored much as far as CG goes. Or, I never usually get around to finishing those things when I do start them. =/
Right now I only have Gimp anyway, and I have a hard enough time just trying to use it to put some effects into my comic pages (which, those effects suck, I'm told. XD )
But anyway, it'll come with more practice. I'd just sit down with a piece for a few hours and play with shadowing, light and dark values, etc. You've got a good base, it's just fine tuning the details now.

Cool, Nu! She's... well, a little damaged goods if you want to talk about her story. She's a nasty beast to fight with or against though. My favourite character to use.
Anyways. Pretty nice, although the eye seems a bit too high and spaced away from the nose. Other than that the rest of it's pretty awesome. Love the hair.

Regarding the eye, I think it's placed just fine, actually. What you have in place for the nose is actually the line marking its lower boundary, so when you factor in the fact that the rest of it would be above that, the placing works out okay.
